hi, i have been using ps2.h try data usb mouse supposedly supports ps/2 protocol, not working. when ps2.h goes through sequence resets mouse , sends instructions send data gets stuck @ point when mouse supposed take control of clock arduino can send instructions. i'm wondering if ps2.h written @ time before usb mice , isn't capable of switching usb mouse ps/2 mode. thoughts on appreciated. thanks, terry rozmus solved it. turns out genius mouse brought not backward compatible ps/2 though specification says is. must have exchanged sensor chip 1 ps/2 capability not present @ point. have usb mouse doing job wanted perfectly. i"ve got cairo dock on macbook using jaunty. i've done sorts of research , typed in terminal plugins. mispellings. i've got cairodock plugins 2.0.8 tar.bz2 box on desktop. there no readme file in once extracted. know how box work? or, how cairo dock plugins using terminal (i've tried sudo apt-get install cairo-dock-plugins) , variations. cheers again really don't know how run tar.bz2 package. hey folks. upgraded captivate 2. i've been opening captivate 1 screencasts , exporting them captivate 2. while i'm @ it, i'm taking advantage of new skins , have been adding closed captioning slides. here's problem. in 1 did, loose audio on few slides. cc shows up, , audio there when edit slides. in published version, it's if slides muted. has run this? i'm going try few more , see if captivate 2 problem in general or if has adding closed captions. haven't created new content in captivate 2 yet, assume matter republishing content developed in captivate 1. thanks, james i'm having same problem, don't have closed caption. audio there on first 4 slides, when goes 5th slide, no audio. i using adafruit motor shield control small robotics platform, code motors works code servo not stop moving after reaches end of cycle. more specifically, servo stays on, hums loudly because trying overdrive inner workings in either direction depending on way trying drive it. i need 2 things happen, servo move way 0 , way 180. ciao tutti, stavo controllando un arduino standalone che ho fatto qualche tempo fa ed ho notato una cosa: il regolatore onboard 78l05 http://users.ece.utexas.edu/~valvano/datasheets/lm78l05.pdf non regola bene la tensione, dati 8.71 volt di ingresso da una batteria ricaricabile da 9 volt in uscita ottengo solamente 3.96 volt invece dei 5 volt che dovrebbe erogare... sul pin di uscita del regolatore c'è un condensatore da 10uf, niente condensatori in ingresso (il filo tra il circuito e la batteria è 20 cm in tutto ). ho fatto una prova anche senza atmega328p e la tensione misurata è 4.34 volt, leggermente superiore ma sempre molto insoddisfacente.. dal datasheet: min output voltage 4.75 volt il regolatore è una "sola"? il regolatore non è una ciofeca, però fornisce max 100 ma. forse il tuo circuito ne assorbe di più? hai provato sostituirlo con un altro regolatore? forse il c in uscita è troppo grosso, e potrebbe dargli noia anche l'ass...

hi, i've been using built in wysiwyg editor in joomla (tinywysiwyg or that) and, quite honestly, it's been horrible.  maybe i've not mastered finer points of working it's driving me crazy.  it's extremely inconsistent, spacing puts in extremely uneven, first line of every article indented not enough make correct, space , half , won't let me rid of spaces.  can sort of "trick" out if use shift>enter puts 1 line further down way side correctly don't doing messes other layout issues. so guess have 2 questions.  there way work editor consistently , successfully?  if so, i'd appreciate tips.  secondly, there alternataives better? i suggest switch joomlace (jce) editor. secondly, i'm moving thread wysiwyg board. hi i noticed find strange , wondering if explain me. i got myself 2 arduino pro minis (the 3v3 version). playing around different ways of letting communicate. wanted see if read pwm output of digital pin of arduino 1 analog input of arduino 2. i wrote short sketch fades led on , off works expected. next step was, connect minus of led analog input of second arduino. happened led stopped fading , instead started pulsing visibly (my guess 1 or 2 times per second.) disconnected again, not sure whats happening , want keep these boards while. both arduinos powered lipo battery, regulated output 5 volt (i know isn't necessary, in bundle charger...). connecting lipo raw power pin. arduinos , battery have common ground. any ideas? quote i wanted see if read pwm output of digital pin of arduino 1 analog input of arduino 2. that won't work anyway, @ least have run pwm through low-pass filter. possibly silliest method of communicating i've ever heard of...

hey everyone, i've been trying number of combinations mac os x, ubuntu 9.04 working on macbook 4.1 refit. have never had sort of trouble before, use bootcamp create spare partition, load ubuntu onto spare partition (tried using alternate , live cd), have tried skipping installing grub, installing grub on hd0 (which broke mac os x working , required fixing through disk utility), tried installing on /dev/sda3 on live cd suggested here ( https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ma...elinstallation ) broke mac os x working again. closest working when refit installed , working after ubuntu install , when click on linux icon goes black screen saying "loading grub stage2:" , macbook restarts. problem macbook, problem jaunty or doing blindingly obvious? appreciated - miss ubuntu install hi i'm little confused, use term "grub" in reference boot loader, ppc uses yaboot, way, if don...

i've finished long saga trying arduino ethernet talk me. small sketches, flash led or whatever, ran fine; involving the ethernet library (my reason getting arduino) worked and mostly failed. i installed copy of ubuntu, had old avr-gcc part of package, and worked, nothing did own system program the arduino correctly. i spent several days trying gcc 4.6.2 compile, had another set of problems, , got binaries of avr-gcc-4.5.1 avrfreaks.  they worked (with arduino-1.0.1-rc2) , had solid telnet , http connections. reverting (by accident) 4.5.3 avr-gcc brought flakiness back, and had me cursing of twenty minutes took me find mistake. so warning - not versions of 4.5.3 cross-compiler are off, it's version avoid, particularly when starting out, when it's difficult know whether problems hardware, software, or pebkac. will Arduino Forum > Using Arduino > Networking, Protocol...

hi there i created site called "index.php" in root folder. in there's menu 5 categories (home, school, contact, photos, downloads). every category there's folder on computer ([root folder]/home, [root folder]/school, [root folder]/contact, [root folder]/photos, [root folder]/downloads. the "index.php" in root folder serves framework. menu links define categories (?&category=home, ?&category=school, ...). this, index.html (school/index.html, contact/index.html, etc...) included main page, have edit htmls in appropriate folders change content. this site structure: [root folder] | |- index.php (every subpage included file) + /school | |- index.html (a subpage) +/contact | |- index.html | (...) + /img (image folder) | |- image1.jpg | |- image2.jpg | |- (...) now problem: css files , image folder stored in root folder. dw html-files stored in sub-folders. if page compiled user's view, image- , css-paths have this: "img/image.jpg", because ...

ok, decided take time try resolve particular problem on jaunty (ubuntu 9.04). watch movies fullscreen, , showed correctly, close laptop lid send sleep (suspend) , after resume suspend, video becomes choppy. saying "choppy" mean freezes couple of seconds , after next keyframe displayed ok time - until next freeze. if try reboot, issues disappear - video displayed correctly. don't know start searching, maybe has thoughts? using thinkpad r61 nvidia quadro nvs140m video card, 2gb ram, proprietary video driver (at moment don't remember version - recommended driver jaunty default installation - think it's 180.??). use compiz effects turned on (they don't interfere fluent video display after reboots). if need more information or logs, tell. read this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...ux/+bug/337040 Forum The Ubuntu Forum Community ...
