Image Fade! - doesnt want to fade!

Arduino Mega2560 with Ethernetshield crashes every 32 seconds only on DC power

hello, i've made terrarium controller using arduino mega 2560 , ethernet shield. arduino crashes every or 32 seconds. when powered dc power supply (9v 1.67 a). if connect my mac using usb, doesn't crash. doesn't happen if connect ethernet port of shield mac (crossover cable). memory consumption of sketch ok, there 4k of free memory time (monitored using rrd). the sketch source: https://github.com/tlinden/terraduino/blob/master/terraduino/terraduino.ino (libraries used: https://github.com/tlinden/terraduino/tree/master/libraries). the interesting thing is, older version of sketch didn't have problem: https://github.com/tlinden/terraduino/blob/3d102cbde9d5804049617f4ea5a2d04088d9ee8b/terraduino/terraduino.ino. since added default gateway along code change webinterface , eeprom code (in libraries/eeany/). if go version, no crash occurs. since doesn't happen when connect usb, can't troubleshoot it. is there can me that? edit : tried old version ...

RGB Led, School-project, need help!

i posting here it's more useful ripping hair out in fustration powering model b pi off normal htc mobile charger. the september 2012 image of raspbian wheezy, ok keyboard , mouse alone (both bog-standard hp kit) not d-link powered 4-port usb hub (looks http://i01.twenga.com/computers/hub/d-l ... 1448vb.jpg ) nothing plugged it. thought fine, i'll use more recent version of raspbian wheezy, may 2013. pi boots fine, not respond it's keyboard or mouse. when boots, noted treats devices not connected error -110 , nither respond device nor plugged in instead of later. sure must problem power, when did hub working, red pwr led on pi flickered power led on hub flickered, , plugging in hub when pi has booted causes reboot. i've tried powering pi through pc , through hub connected pc, similar results. buggs me had set before, same usb hub , keyborad/mouse , htc phone charger on different pi (an earlier model b) no problems whatsoever. ideas causing this? i'm stumped! ...

FTP Error

i'm having strangest problem ftp in dreamweaver. i've been using dw on computer these same site definitions year. have of sites set user name, don't have set remember password. first time try or post i'm prompted password. a few weeks ago stopped. now, first time try ftp something, dw tries connect remote site , doesn't ask password. of course results in ftp error , can't connect. if go "manage sites" ftp info there, user name no longer stored. if enter user name , save site settings, can ftp again. i have every time log computer. it's not impossible work around, pretty annoying. i've tried deleting site in site manager , setting again. i've tried uninstalling dw , reinstalling. i've tried uninstalling , removing site definitions in windows registry , reinstalling. none of these things have worked. ideas? system: windows xp pro w/ dreamweaver 8 have run 8.01 update , not 8.02? i did not have problem before update, cannot run 8...

Oh wifi Mysterium! - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi, can me wifi problem, wonder? time now, raspi has been routing wlan0 (which connects house router) wlan1 (configured access point). both modems connect powered hub (an approved one). have 5v 3a power supply. now, of sudden, wlan0 misbehaving, seemingly little regularity: after booting, wlan0 connected router , fine period of time (probably hour or two, hard tell) , wifi modem's blue light goes off , if try , ping, says network unreachable. rebooting not put things right. taking wlan0 down , nothing. in wifi utility in lxde, scanning sees absolutely nothing. sometimes, unplugging modem , replugging causes burst life. have tried port on hub , another, identical wifi modem, both no effect. have tried backup sd card , things still same. modem powering down or something? uses rt5370 chipset. don't know start looking! appreciated! i have problems seemingly caused july rpi-update's. related? dmesg give info? raspberrypi

hi, i using arduino uno generate different frequency square waves modulate led. using toggle on compare match mode of 16mhz clock on atmega 328 this. datasheet atmega 328 has nice formula calculating ocrna register value needed generate desired output frequency. when calculate register value , hardcode ocr1a register, 500hz register value 1999, outputs correct frequency. have int variable frequency can enter 500 , calculate ocr1a value when try implement frequency outputted random. can't seem figure out why is. here little bit of code: for 500hz //this works ocr1a =1999 ; //this doesn't work int freq = 500; int eq = ((16*10^6)/(2*8*500))-1; //this formula datasheet , // used 1999 above ocr1a = eq; can see doing wrong? in advance. don't crosspost! pete ...

Mplayer slow motion - Raspberry Pi Forums

ciao tutti, ho in mente un progettino che sfrutta arduino per tenere monitorato lo stato di alcuni parametri di box e cantina; per esempio mi interessa far scattare un allarme nel caso box e/o cantina si allaghino, oppure se dovesse intercettare un principio di incendio... poi già che ci sono perchè non tenere sotto monitoraggio anche temperatura ed umidità? tanto l'hardware mi permette di recuperare varie informazioni con uno sforzo minimo in più... per quanto riguarda la temperatura ho dimestichezza con il "classico" ds18b20 e quindi non vedo problemi di sorta; invece per quanto riguarda l'umidità mi trovo piuttosto spiazzato... in giro per internet ho trovato solo qualche cosa in merito ai dht11 (pessima precisione, ottimo prezzo) o ai dht22 (discreta precisione, prezzo poco allettante e sopratutto, non li trovo in ue, qunidi dovrei acquistarli in cina e pagare dazio e dogana...) avete qualche consiglio per qualche sensore di umidità o umidità/temperatur...

i have had interesting experience of having severe noise issues on small micro controller. in end mains hum , speed drive (located close by) causing hiccups. anyway started wondering if there reasonable affordable way of doing testing emc , rf issues. most of have found on net @ wrong end of cost scale, found hand test tool @ www.empulse.co.uk anyone got real life experience in field want share , suggestion testing any sort of spectrum analyser can used, know these not cheap can make low cost ones radio modules. think there 1 in exhibition section recently.
