hello people! well i'm arduino beginner , university professor offered me set mixer 24 motorized faders. audio part of mixer set. my part consists on reading data faders active (touch sensitive selected), converting data 7 bit 1024 steps midi instrument , send data untouched faders can reproduce position of actual level of track in used software (let's protools, goal make generic), 1024 step definition. i find little complex, interesting well. there 2 general parts of project then 1) encoding voltage data each fader 24 cc (continous control) 1024 step midi instrument.    -i know normal 7 bit midi uses 128 step definition, know pitch control, example, has 1024 resolution in 7 bit midi. how can reproduce in cc controls?    -how should set touch sensitive part activate writing mode? 2) decoding midi data of different positions of each fader voltage move each motor right possition.    -i should output 1024 step data used software. can midi o...

i've been working on custom template , scripts solve production problem workgroup. in nutshell involves tagging objects (paths , text) according function in interface, , being able change appearance full preview wireframe (black outlines , gray) , again. tags function stylesheets, except in case stylesheet has 2 'modes', mockup , wireframe, , several 'states', active inactive, selected, etc.. to record tags, write customdata property of objects. think record style definitions somewhere in files themselves, rather having include 300+ lines of code in every script. there customdata property documents? don't see in documentation ("extending fireworks"). i suppose create path on own layer, call layer "data", lock , make invisible. write style definitions customdata property of path, hoping there more elegant alternative transparent user. anybody have ideas? i building rc lawn mower. use wireless ps2 controller arduino steer it. in order not destroy batteries (two 12v/14ah lead acid batteries in series) discharging them much, need method estimate state of charge.  know there simple equations estimate soc when there no load on batteries, need estimate soc while batteries in use. tried google it, far fond out complex problem , there no simple way figure out soc while discharging batteries. i guess @ least people here have faced same problem. methods have used estimate soc or protect batteries against on discharging them? as have found out not simple task , made harder depending on type of battery 1 using. nicad , nimh batteries have 'flat' discharge curve until totaly depleted of charge. lead acid , lipo batteries have more linear discharge curve. need accurate soc or low voltage cut-off value can used signal time power down system. think under load if battery voltage goes down 11 11.5vdc decisio...

i trying use raspberry pi @ school, , have no suitable monitors trying headlessly. i've set static ip (so can find on network), netmask, gateway, etc. , can use ssh remotely log in fine. problem want able vnc gui. school's access 'net via eduproxy.bgfl.org:80 , apt-get can't connect anything. i've looked online , many suggesting simple creating apt.conf file line in it, seems have no effect. when try sudo apt-get install tightvncserver screen tells me trying connect eduproxy gives up. have ideas of should try? there try command line tell me can talk internet @ (pinging net never works on machine because of way proxy set up)? if you've had set static ip chances you're missing out on whole lot of configuration usuall arrives through dhcp (netmask, gateway etc.). can ask local staff? not in best position help, it's polite ask before connecting new equipment elses network. raspberrypi

bonjour à tous, dans le cadre de mon projet de programmateur de lave linge ( http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php/topic,62096.0.html ), je travaille sur la partie délicate du contrôle de la vitesse du moteur. sur un moteur universel, il s'agit d'utiliser un triac pour n'alimenter le moteur que pendant la fin de chaque demi-période du secteur à 50hz. le principe est donc : - détecter le passage à zéro du secteur (100 fois par seconde) - temporiser (court si on veut augmenter la vitesse, plus long si on veut ralentir). la tempo est inférieure à la durée d'une demi-période (10ms). 0->moteur à 100%, 10ms->moteur à 0% - activer le triac jusqu'au prochain passage à zéro. - recommencer 100 fois par seconde. c'est un fonctionnement assez classique et on trouve pas mal d'exemples sur le net. mon schéma exact est attaché au message. mon problème est le suivant : j'utilise un h11aa1 pour la détection du passage à zéro du secteur, relié à la pin ...
