Arduino2Max Force Sensitive Resistor - where is the issue?

hi arduinoers

i trying solve i'm sure basic arduino2max problem. have force sensitive resistor connected, via breadboard, arduino bt w/at mega 328. had spent lot of time getting program loaded onto arduino, seem have managed now. have uploaded arduino2max.pde file arduino . read data analog port 0, , have displayed on standard max patch.

can see going wrong? believe set of breadboard correct, if kind double check fantastic - isn't area of expertise. not sure @ stage of project problem occuring - breadboard fine, interfacing max via bluetooth issue.

i using 10k ohm resistor. changed last line of programming code to  serial.write(32); arduino not understand 'byte', although not sure best value put in here be. max patch has serial reader linked arduinobt-bluetoothseri  , correct port has been selected. @ wits end i'm sure it's small issue overlooking!

also worth - circuit trying follow: http://www.ladyada.net/learn/sensors/fsr.html (the part titled analog voltage reading method).

i have tried attaching image of breadboard wont upload reason - perhaps if tell me how this, can shed light on breadboard set have going on.

again, massively appreciated.

thanks time

i have 9v terminal connected left leg of fsr. right leg connected 10 kohm resistor, connected ground. right leg connected analog ).
