this dreamweaver8 problem: use select modified dialog box select files modified within specific time frame. but have problem: when go select > modified > click files created or modified between , want specify date range there no 2007 in dropdown box have select year! my end goal power raspberry pi roomba (and plug roomba's serial interface). built basic voltage regulator circuit on breadboard shown here: circuit works great standard batteries. tried 9v battery , 8 aa's (12v), , raspberry pi booted , stayed powered on no problems (no peripherals other hdmi monitor). when plug directly roomba battery , pi begins boot, , gets way desktop, screen begins flicker on , off, , pi crashes (black screen). took multimeter readings, , here observations. using 8 aa batteries: with rpi turned off, voltage measured @ battery 10.78v (some batteries presumably weak or dead). on regulated side of circuit, measured consistent 4.97v. with rpi turned on, voltage measured @ battery fell 9.5v. on regulated side, voltage steady 4.94v. using roomba battery: with rpi turned off, voltage measured @ battery 15.50v. on regulated side of circuit, voltage consistent 4.97v. with rpi turned on, voltage on battery side didn't drop much, 15.35 -- fl...

recently started thinking ways automate/log sensors in home @ lowest cost possible (aka, not ripping apart walls install wiring, , not forking out heaps of cash ethernet shields). idea of rs-485 in general, due simplicity , cost of transceiver chips (under $2 piece). general idea place 'node' in each room, consist of arduino/microcontroller , rs-285 transceiver chip. each node act slave device , communicate centrally located master. considered connecting of devices wirelessly via radio, suppose cheap, prefer hard wires connections. got me thinking, why not use existing cat5 plug found in rooms? believe there's typically couple of unused twisted pairs. so i'm wondering how feasible idea be. potential problems i'm looking at: 1) rs-485, nodes should placed in line-like fashion, isn't possible existing ethernet configuration, lines propagate outward central switch/router. there impedance/resistance issues. 2) data effected when passing through switch...

i'm trying read analog inputs cd4067be chip. though i'm grounding half of inputs ( can ground them don't see point ). salve tutti, quest'anno mi sono portato casa dalla fiera di pordenone un paio di motori stepper, ma non riesco trovare nessun dato significativo.. quello che è che sono dei kp39hm2-018 con 1.8 deg, hanno 5 fili (quindi dovrebbero essere unipolari) di colori arancio, rosso, giallo, marrone e nero. sapete aiutarmi? tra le varie ricerche ho anche trovato questo sito che dovrebbe permetterne il riconoscimento, ma mi blocco allo step 2, nel quale trovo una resistenza meccanica con tutte le combinazioni.. dalle misurazioni credo di aver capito che il rosso è il common perchè da 72 ohm con tutti gli altri, mentre ogni altra combinazione mi da circa 145 ohm. se ha 5 fili é un po difficile trovare la sequenza dei 4 fili. il comune lo hai trovato. collega gli altri 4 fili ai transistori caso. fallo girare lentamente e controlla: se ogni step gira nello stesso senso lo hai collegato bene. se non lo fa inverti 2 fili e riprovi. se funziona bene e se no prova con...

hi, i've installed neverwinter nights 1.69 on jaunty latest updates, have few questions getting work x windows. first off, when run game fullscreen , switch virtual console ctrl-alt-f1 , switch game, computer draws desktop mouse pointer in middle of screen on top of game , cannot figure out how rid of it. otherwise game runs fun, it's distracting having white mouse pointer smack in middle of game cannot move. have idea of how rid of it? second, have heard possible launch games in own x windows session, e.g. running game on ctrl-alt-f9 instead of ctrl-alt-f7. how go doing neverwinter nights? thanks. bump.
