midi over bluetooth for my musical instrument

i have musical instrument made (from peter d.) use ipad/iphone.  sends midi data out on tx line pro mini, midi connector.  use yamaha's ios midi adapter , plug ipad.  see photos...

what i'm wondering is, possibility of replacing midi cable 2 bluetooth modems sparkfun:
http://www.sparkfun.com/products/10268

it says works serial pipeline, there shouldn't it?  if setup bluetooh modems send @ 31250 baud rate, work this:
add 1 bluetooth modem instrument (call master)
it transmits other modem (the slave), have it's tx connected yahama midi adapter.  need other hardware on slave modem, power?

if instrument's pro mini establishing midi baud rate (31250), maybe doesn't matter bluetooth link baud rate, long it's @ least fast?

one more question:  yamaha adapter ios device has 3 prong stereo jack (see photo), or 3 conductors, midi is--the +5volt, ground, , signal.  so, if ios device can source enough current bluetooth modem, able connect 3 bluetooth modem without else?

a lot of questions here.  answers or insight help.  thanks.
