More power for motor - Raspberry Pi Forums
i have built inelegant robot car. not move! wheels spin when lift off ground. not powerful enough!
here circuit have repeated twice each wheel (there 2 motor powered wheels , 2 uncontrolled free caster wheels):
gpio-> 330ohm resistor-> 2n2222 transistor base
2 aa batteries->through transistor-> motor-> ground+battery
parallel motor diode protecting circuit once transistor off.
motor using: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/b00b ... utf8&psc=1
here options increasing power, should do?
replace 2 aa batteries 4 aa batteries.
or
replace 2 aa batteries 9v square battery.
or
change motors to: http://www.amazon.co.uk/1500-10000rpm-g ... _sbs_diy_1
or
use 5v outputs on pi instead of 2 aa batteries. safe connect 5v outputs circuit near no resistance @ all? 5v outputs go through chip?
solutions should do?

the 3v motors using seem fine. if connect battery directly motors operate expect? powerful enough? if not, perhaps batteries flat.
