GPS chip UC430 1.8v?

do need connect grounds on p.30?
18 of 'em!
looks simple circuit required. only 5 pins including ground. the inputs 3.3v tolerant.
simple voltage divider go 5v 3.3v?
gnd
1.8v
on/off
sda
scl
how read/write i2c data arduino if it's 1.8v?
logic level converter. $12 shipping sucks...
any other ideas?

spec says i2c can pulled 3.6v.
i bet pulling 3.3v arduino fine.
yes on grounds - make nice ground plane reception.
trade off unit cost & shipping vs unit cost & shipping elsewhere, gps @ sparkfun
http://www.sparkfun.com/products/8975
which needs 5 connections.
here version on card in box
