Dreamweaver 8.0.1 gone buggy!

after months of smooth-sailing dw8, having 3 problems.

1) whenever close program, lose ftp settings several web sites working on. re-enter codes every day, save box checked, information evaporates close down program.

2) recently, when try "save" web page have made new change on, not save file properly. instead, new window opens saying "save template." way can save page have made changes "save as" , replace existing file.

3) have tried download updater bring me dw 8.0.2, unable so. able download .exe file, when try open it, following message: "contents cannot unpacked. executable attempting run has been corrupted." have tried downloading new .exe files several times, none of them open me.

can advise me possible cause of these problems? week had more general problems computer freezing, no matter program running. problem seems have resolved when replaced mouse. have checked virus , spyware, , have found none.

apart cause, there solution these problems? deleting dreamweaver computer, using cd re-install sensible way go??

if have been having other problems pc freezing etc, there may
well other forces @ work, not related dw. have chance
installed internet explorer 7 lately?
if so, theres technote on adobe site somewhere it, need
get 8.02 update working iirc. tried contact adobe ftp access
to update? tried download on pc , transfer
dev. machine?

Crossfader Arduino Tutorial
