Teaching myself electrical engineering.
hello,
i'm software developer 0 experience in electrical engineering , arduino collecting dust. local colleges best of knowledge not offer courses in electrical engineering.
my first question is, level of physics knowledge required design moderately complex circuit? , second, books or materials should study prime myself on properties , interactions of basic components? i.e. resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, diodes, , like.
i'd higher understanding of boolean algebra (than required software dev.), , logic design.
keep in mind not have basic knowledge. how start on own?
edit: free materials best materials.

given you've missed boat mitx free online course on basic circuits year, plunge straight "the art of electronics", horowitz & hill - 1 of best books out there , gets straight down business unlike textbooks.
i think should karnaugh maps on wikipedia.
