i bluehost.com. switched hostgator.com. now... every install of joomla has become nightmare. here why...
all use joomla. when install installing fantastico (the latest version). did when bluehost.com. bluehost.com able modify files in , outside of joomla admin panel. hostgator.com have email them file ownership. unable download joomla files via , ftp client. tells me don't have admin rights. have 1 ftp account i'm using correct information.
when contact hostgator.com tell me this, "yes, time joomla or mambo. used fantastico install why you're having these issues. since fantastico nothin more script webserver runs, when installs files, of them owned webserver user (which 'nobody') when make configuration changes via joomla admin panel have permissions update files.
if change of files on account username joomla won't able of config changes in admin panel."
i'm not web administrator not sound truth. never had problem bluehost.com. makes bluehost.com's fantastico different hostgator.com's fantastico?
please give me insight.
