3,3V short circuit? - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi,

1 of raspberry half year out of use. wanted use in little project.
when connect powered usb hub red led shines little bit. connected power supply saw 5v supply voltage drops around 2,3v while current around 1a (current limit of power supply) while absolutely nothing connected pi (not sd card). felt 3,3v voltage regulator becomes warm. think there short circuit between 3,3v , gnd somewhere on board.

don't believe theres chance fix it, have idea?

there miniscule possibility electrolytic across 3v3 rail has gone short-circuit. replaced. fear rpi has followed path of mpfc parrot.

Crossfader Arduino Tutorial

hello i'm super newb please don't bash me much. i'm using led's , i've connected them correctly (finally) , wondering why program here ( http://www.arduino.cc/en/tutorial/colorcrossfader ) doesn't work? say's haven't declared crossfade. read directions on top , said crossfade needs used list order of colors. isn't declared in main part (void loop() )? or need declared before? nevermind void on bottom , needed before voidloop. lol anyways playing rgb led's wondering if has specific way of making them fade in , out different colors?
