Non libretro compiled pcsx_rearmed and analog XBOX360 - Raspberry Pi Forums

i've built 5 retropie gaming systems , have experimented many different emulators.

i've found performance difference between pcsx_rearmed when compiled libreto vs. standard options significant (in testing few games, high overclocking not required non-libretro pcsx_rearmed on 3d games crash bandicoot).

the 1 issue cannot find resolution recognition of xbox360 analog devices (right , left joystick). using xboxdrv has worked flawlessly libretro version of pcsx_reared (and other emulators)

other buttons work correctly except analog sticks. pcsx_rearmed sees left analog stick button /0x00 , not analog stick @ all. frustratingly, left analog stick works fine in pcsx_rearmed setup menu (where select bios , other configuration options, including button mapping)

example ./pcsx.cfg analog device helpful i've had no such luck in either finding documentation on .pcsx_config

understand uses padjoy plugin (renamed dfinput per changelog).

feel i've googled death. appreciated.

here button mapping pcsx.cfg

code: select all

binddev = sdl:xbox gamepad (userspace driver) bind \x00 = player1 bind \x00 = player1 down bind \x00 = player1 left bind \x00 = player1 right bind \x00 = player1 l3 bind \x00 = player1 select bind backspace = fast forward bind escape = enter menu bind \xa0 = player1 cross bind \xa1 = player1 circle bind \xa2 = player1 square bind \xa3 = player1 triangle bind \xa4 = player1 l1 bind \xa5 = player1 r1 bind \xa6 = player1 l2 bind \xa7 = player1 r2 bind \xa9 = player1 start bind \xac = player1 r3 bind f1 = save state bind f2 = load state bind f3 = prev save slot bind f4 = next save slot bind f5 = toggle frameskip bind f6 = take screenshot bind f7 = show/hide fps bind f11 = toggle fullscreen
