Pi boots into emergency kernel and won't boot regular - Raspberry Pi Forums

i tried upgrading os on pi. have tried using 2013-02-09-wheezy-raspian , 2013-05-25-wheezy-raspian. have tried loading images using linux or windows. have tried using patriot hc 16gb , daneelec hc 8gb card. whatever try seem same problem.
the pi boots emergency kernel every time. , want boot regular.

doing wrong or need fix this?

no not have jumper between pins 5-6.

this has been happening few people , don't think has been solved yet.

can prevent booting emergency kernel adding

avoid_safe_mode=1 

in config.txt file.

try , track down why happens:

pi rev 1 or rev 2 board?
