Raspi, I2C, and transistors - Raspberry Pi Forums
hello experts
don't know diy electronics, try building following, , love know if thoughts possible.
raspi controlled fireworks ignition system
have raspi. need fire 150-200 separate fireworks. know raspi has i2c system communicate microcontrollers. have looked using matrix (and judging 32bit 1 should able have 256 output matrix), may way.
next issue how amperage igniters. far have read, take 6-9a 12v battery. think transistors used switch each output. since matrix used activating pairs of outputs, there transistors activate when 2 inputs active?
if not possible, think many 32bit mc's used i2c, i'd rather 1 instead of 8.
input appreciated before start trying celebrate canada day next year. i'm getting little tired of being right in firing zone.
in advance
