Hiding Data in Frontpage? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi guys...

firstly, please move if there's better spot it.

my issue relates com_frontpage:
i added content , set of relevant parameters 'hide' (eg. item rating, author names, created date , time, modified date , time , on). works intended when looking @ content itself.

however, when added front page, of data showed (on front page).

so, somehow, came across content tab in global configuration. on page, set values hide , data gone.

my question this: front page component working expected , intended when displays data, no matter settings have given content itself? if working intended, why , there way can override these values on front page (without setting entire site configuration defaults... idea of keeping them everywhere else!).

Crossfader Arduino Tutorial

hello i'm super newb please don't bash me much. i'm using led's , i've connected them correctly (finally) , wondering why program here ( http://www.arduino.cc/en/tutorial/colorcrossfader ) doesn't work? say's haven't declared crossfade. read directions on top , said crossfade needs used list order of colors. isn't declared in main part (void loop() )? or need declared before? nevermind void on bottom , needed before voidloop. lol anyways playing rgb led's wondering if has specific way of making them fade in , out different colors?
