Anyone Wanting to Try Rasberry Pi ?
no it's not sex act (i hope)... it's arm processor on board (like arduino board) except comes usb, hdmi, gpu etc.. phone without screen real
world connectors see on computers, plug keyboard , mouse it...
(without going shock on questions this... http://www.raspberrypi.org/forum/general-discussion/worthwhile-me-buying-a-pi-want-to-learn-a-language-for-running-calculations#p64804 )
what's peoples opinions? flop or possible success?.. of course $25 700mhz arm processor , gpu i'm going buy 1 out of curiosity, who've not heard of it, have @ this, clam they're pushing @ kids them interested in programming again, don't see how personally, want write 1 extremely low cost low powered web server 256 meg of ram, can't quite imagine atmega putting of fight.. of course not replacement, beauty of arduino board header pins interface real world... forget it, nobody's taking arduino's away me never!!!!....

maybe kind of hack on rasberry pi make interface arduino? electronics side of me says rasberry what.... geek side says, whoooooo $25 gets 700mhz cpu , gpu , 256 meg or ram runs linux direct sd card... thinks might threat arduino's future forget it, unless see header pins interface real world, rasberry pi event in computer history calendar, let's face uno board of suitable stuff on or in 10 years time, don't need go faster (we don't run os on it...) phone or rasberry pi, newer software comes along , device fail... if new sensor comes along , can't data off... sensor fails

the raspberry pi surely going affect how people use arduinos. arduino appeals hobbyist on price , ease of use, can opt whole computer complete operating system , video output. don't think arduino can compete on price, have strengths:
i hope rpi stimulate evolution among existing arduino species. think we'll see lots of arduino-based i/o expansion boards rpi, start. perhaps see newer arduinos play strengths, such remote sensing or mobile applications, support lithium polymer batteries, solar panels, or low-cost rf communication.
in case, it's great time electronics , computing hobbyist.
- plenty of i/o ports
- can run @ low power
- better suited real-time tasks
