USB External HDD Slow speed max 5.7 mb/s - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi,

hooked external 500gb hdd (new wd one, 2.5") rpi (powered usb hub)
i'm having problem here, read speeds fine on usb 2.0 around 23 mb/s write speed ridiculously low, i'm not getting more 5.7 mb/s write speed while on windows computer can around 35 mb/s on usb 2.0 (higher on 3.0 obviously)

hope can me fix :)

what mount say?

ntfs (either ntfs-3g or kernel-mode driver) cpu-intensive on pi.

Crossfader Arduino Tutorial

hello i'm super newb please don't bash me much. i'm using led's , i've connected them correctly (finally) , wondering why program here ( http://www.arduino.cc/en/tutorial/colorcrossfader ) doesn't work? say's haven't declared crossfade. read directions on top , said crossfade needs used list order of colors. isn't declared in main part (void loop() )? or need declared before? nevermind void on bottom , needed before voidloop. lol anyways playing rgb led's wondering if has specific way of making them fade in , out different colors?
