Mobile phones + AtmegaXXX (or equiv)
i thinking not nice see mobile phone have traditional processor arm (or otherwise, intel) have ability switch
to power saving mode...
everything on arm side of things gets shutdown , small 20mhz processor takes on interfaces basic gsm hooks the
lcd/oled screen (simply text display, think of iphone interface of nokia 3210 10 years ago) , , have basic system in place
to keep mobile phone mobile phone , not else, number of person who's calling, simple interface 3210, , small
contact list gets exported when arm processor shuts down..
eg in emergency? power goes out, switch modes , days weeks of standby modern day battery allowing basic functionality, calls, sms.
or not idea? i'd quite option have open source code , give people ability custom interfaces , stuff, letting people here
write own code or edit existing code, idea....

what leads believe isn't case? turn radio off , see how long battery lasts. processor isn't power hog.
