Help With LED Driver

Delay problem

CEC not working on a few Tvs - Raspberry Pi Forums

hello everyone. have had rpi working beautifully openelec. problem when swap tv in bedroom (its newer model toshiba 42tl515u) doesn't seem pick cec controller. plugging few of older model toshiba's around house pick cec adapter fine. know not big of deal , can juts buy ir blaster 1 room rpi stay. there i'm missing? per toshiba's documentation cec has been enabled. i've tried resetting rpi while plugged tv etc. update needs released os (openelec). don't have other cec devices make sure part functioning. thoughts? ideas? in advance. one idea swap hdmi cable, not full wired cec... @ least have seen such reports. see http://zombiebrainzjuice.cc/openelec-ce ... ing-fixed/ raspberrypi

DS18B20 - temperature sensor code Help Request

greetings, i purchased few temperature sensors - ds18b20.  using uno r3 i found code , modified display alarm , display on lcd. 1. i  have code sensing 2 ds18b20 temp sensors (the temp readings good) , displaying temperature on lcd 16/2. 2. i  have managed  figure out how display on lcd when over-temp occurs , turn on led not working way want to. problem: 1. code below results in word "alarm" on lcd when on temp occurs on temp led blinks, instead of being on steady during alarm. MOSFET Driver - pn2222, 12v enough?

so have logic level mosfet's on order, should here middle of week next week.. happened near radio shack today, went in , got mosfet carry.. irf510.  by reading it, thought (as learn) vgs of 5v plenty.  after reading on net , here, understand that's minimum threshold, not full on.  5v compatible wanted, , isn't.  crap. so, have bunch of pn2222, put 1k base arduino, collector 12v (common ground), , emitter gate of mosfet.  the mosfet drain taking ground side of led array drawing 3 amps @ 12v (current regulated), , source ground.  i've got 470k resistor between gate , ground bleed off charge.  when meter it, pn2222 puts out solid ten volts plus emitter. i can't seem mosfet turn on given setup, gives?  when meter it, pn2222 feeding gate on ten volts.. more enough turn on.. getting dim output. i've added resistor drop 12v going collector, bringing emitter voltage around 8v.  still no dice.  if short sou...

I think I let the magic smoke out of my arduino uno r3

while intently working on project board fell out of hand , come in contact 12v on bottom side of board 2-3 sec or so. think selled magic smoke , flashing light stays solidly lit. second time ever played it. wife "upset" $20+ down drain. way out of dog house fixing board. thanks i taking out dinner trying loop-back test try see part damaged. if processor chip, , if plugged socket (not surface mounted) can replace $5. might voltage regulator or other part. measure few points (eg. 5v, 3.3v) , see if expected voltage there. Thread: How intel driver with second high resolution monitor without EDID?

subject says almost: have notebook intel (965), , want attach second monitor. alas, despite of being high-end monitor (crt) 1600x1200, not provide edid info. being on notebook, can't disable built-in screen (1024x768), second monitor go same resolution , same horizontal frequency (60 hz); in short: lousy , flickery. if nvidia, i'd know twinview, , dfp settings , whatnot. how make intel driver? played /etc/x11/xorg.conf, no avail. tried 'display' settings (gnome-display-properties), since cannot recognize monitor, stuck 1024x768 @ 60 hz. last effort xrandr, shows same values. tried bump them up, explained in man page, refuses, stating 1024x1024 maximum set. suggestion welcome, uwe Forum The Ubuntu Forum Community Ubuntu Official Flavours Support Installation & Upgrades [ubuntu] How intel driver with second high resolution monitor without EDID? ciao tutti dopo alcuni calcoli teorici (vedi http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php/topic,98326.msg739697.html#msg739697 ) ho costruito su breadboard il circuito http://www.micro-examples.com/public/microex-navig/doc/090-ultrasonic-ranger.html con l'unica modifica di un'induttanza da 100uh invece che 330uh per limitare vrms ad un valore più conservativo e dalle prove eseguite dati sperimentali non discostano di molto dai teorici. le codizioni di test sono state: distanza: 17,5 cm vrms: 10 volt (da simulazione spice, non verificato in quanto non dispongo di oscilloscopio per verificare) ho rilevato un picco massimo di 254mv ricevuti (senza alcuna amplificazione!), dai conti teorici risultava un minimo di 192mv. un grafico vale più di mille parole quindi: nella prima colonna sono indicati usecondi dopo la fine dell'intero treno di 10 impulsi 40 khz (durato quindi 250us) mentre nella seconda relativi valori letti dall'adc di arduino. l'adc campionava alla vel...

Connection refused in SQL Server 2005

i have installed sql server 2005 developer edition, , still have sql server 7 running on port 1433. i have many sql7 databases connected cf7.0.2 when try connect new database can read , write in sql2005, connection refused error. i'm not sure port connect sql2005 port shows 0 apparently means dynamic port allocation. when try port 1434 connection refused. i have user name set sa (and enabled in sql2005) , no password (windows authentication). same result if user name blank. anyone got idea these settings should be? doug i have switched off dynamic port allocation , changed port 1435 , think connect sql server 2005, error: the user not associated trusted sql server connection. i have tried using sa , tried setting user name, cannot past error. any appreciated. doug More discussions in Database Access adobe

on 1 pc, (three hard drives) have kubuntu karmic 64 bit, osx86 (hackint0sh), windows 7 rc 64 bit, windows 7 rc 32 bit , puppy linux on pen drive! use kubuntu most you? just win7 & gentoo. think 7 install broke though because application don't launch. show in task manager, nothing else. thing takes 20 minutes install. microsoft came time. Can't upload anything to homemade Severino S3V3

hello! this first post here, hope correct section. i've found posts of people similar problems, none of them mine, , none of solutions worked me. first of all, story: i decided build own arduino board , found severino on official website(http://arduino.cc/it/main/arduinoboardserialsinglesided3 ); built thing, , burning bootloader onto atmega168 microcontroller used friend's demilanove /w atmega328. completed process successfully, burned second microcontroller, atmega8 using same procedure. far good. now: i connected external power supply: 9v battery; connected serial-to-vga cable (my computer doesn't have serial port, vga...). of course power led on; led 13 blinking continuously, tx , rx aren't blinking @ all. board doesn't appear under device manager, , if "unknown device", installation of drivers in impossible. sometimes, when connected pc, led 13 blinked fast 5 seconds, all. when try upload sketch, autoreset pins on jumper 1 not connected,...

hi folks, i have problem buttons. i using script: on (release) { gotoandplay ( 30) } i have added each instance of button every time clicked, go screen on frame 30 in timeline. when play movie, clicking in button takes me start of movie, eg frame 1. i have stop(); script in last frame of movie try stop going start. thanks. sorry, might wrong explanation problem. going keyframe it's not stopping on it. i have used stop(); on frame. thanks. avería en arduino bt

hola, resulta que jugando con el arduino bt pienso que me lo cargué, le pongo alimentacion correctamente y no enciende ningun led, creo que pudo ser debido que le puse demasiada carga los 5v que da de salida, le puse dos l298, y un l293d, o igual alguna mal conexion del ultimo porque los dos anteriores funcionaban perfectamente. la pregunta es, se puede enviar el arduino y que me lo reparen? seguro que me saldría mas barato que uno nuevo, no? no tendrá ningun fusible de protecion o algo?? gracias. cambia el titulo del post para que sea mas descriptivo del problema. dudo muchísimo que puedas enviarlo arduino, no vale la pena, en ebay un arduino uno vale unos 15 euros con gastos de envio. imaginate enviarlo ya te va salir de 5 8 euros, y el coste de repararlo. o nada olvidate de la opción de enviar. revisa el regulador, hay un "fusible" o algo así de sobrecorriente, esta cerca del regulador. también puedes probar meterle 5 v directamente vin ver s...

powertip pc1602f just wanted leave warning seems flood arduino users had misfortune of buying lcd...doesnt work arduino under 4 bits( theres quite few hundreds of people stating it ).- some people seem have got work under 8 bits, know ( havent bothered try myself, dont think worth on character lcd 16x2...its kinda ridiculous ), not best lcd starters or newbies. just wanted leqave alert here !! also known pc1602lrs powertip. I2C protocol mismatch?

i2c protocol mismatch? i've got problem i²c , arduino. want write nxp tef6730 i²c bus in fm radio tuner. tef6730 datasheet says complies fast-mode i2c-bus protocol (but max used speed 100khz - checked la). logic analyzer shows strange sda change of every packet between start of i2c packet , sending slave address (during normal fm tuner operation): http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/2941/tunertune.png i want send same arduino. that's i'm getting: http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/408/arduino.png there's no high level on sda after start , i'm not getting ack after sending slave address. i'm using seeeduino @ 3.3v. i've tested wire library , ' arduino i2c master library '  both of them fail (no ack slave). i've tried turning on/off pull-ups in arduino (this i²c bus pulled internaly in tuner), changing speed 400khz, nothing helps. i think problem may related sda level going high before sending slave address tuner. arduino/atm...

Modificare libreria ... Esportare un valore

buona sera, forse è un argomento più da forum di programmazione c++  che di progetti arduino, ma ci provo comunque, sono diversi giorni che cerco e faccio prove ma non riesco uscirne e le librerie c++ per quanto abbia letto qua e la non riesco comprenderle del tutto, capisco cosa fanno vari pezzi isolati, ma nell'insieme di salti e dichiarazioni mi perdo. spero qualcuno riesca illuminarmi, mi piacerebbe imparare qualcosa di più sulle librerie. all'interno di una libreria viene fatto un parse di un header http, viene smembrata per rcavare valori che servono alla libreria stessa, mi sono fatto una variabile parte e ho riunito tutti char per ottenere un unica una striga (parliamo del file cpp) headerstring.concat(ch1); quindi facendo un serial print dentro la libreria vedo il blocco che mi serve sul serial monitor mentre è in esecuzione, ora questa stringa lo voglio esportare sul serial non mi serve nulla ho dichiarato nella lib.h nelle sezione pubbica public: stri...
