Thread: remote manage multiple m/c's

i wish setup system follows:

have multiple (for eg. 6) machines san's monitors or keyboard or cd/dvdrom, connected on network.. have (single) machine has required peripherals..

1: want able install ubuntu on multiple m/c's remotely via single m/c

2: remote boot multiple m/c's via single m/c

3: manage multiple m/c's via single m/c

feasible? how?

option 1.
theres netboot method os, need tftp server, , dhcp server. make sure add whatever kernel option enables ssh console install. can use other machine ssh client.
option 2.

if machines same, work out custom boot/install script. boot them off network, , install without interaction. when done there user(you configured in script) can use ssh them , manage them.

there serial console installs if option you.

possible, going take more work moving monitor plug each pc.
