[SOLVED] Multiple Super Administrator Sessions Logging each other off - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

problem description:

1) first of 2 super admins install of joomla 1.0.8 logs in.  let's used username "numberone".
2) second of 2 super admins logs same install, different location.  let's used "numbertwo".
3) next time first super admin clicks anything, finds has been logged out, , must log in.  does.
4) first super logged in, second super find must log in, knocking other off.

problem details:

this problem occurred after updating install of joomla! v1.0.3 v1.0.8.  after several hours of messing around, remembered used ftp program (filezilla) overwrite contents of unzipped joomla! update file root directory, , odd reason chose option "overwrite if newer", rather overwrite.  why did this, have no idea.

problem solution:

i used ftp program copy contents of unzipped joomla! update file root directory, time using option "overwrite".

corollary:

i pretty pissed having problem until realized how retarded was.  because found few hits in other places in joomla forum similar problems, , positive bug in 1.0.8.  helps have similar troubles own stupidity.

Crossfader Arduino Tutorial
