[RESOLVED] authors cant see any categories in the 'submit news' dropdown - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all

i'm working on converting our community joomla site.  i've set load of sections , categories.  they're published, public access, , visible when viewing front end.  they're there when posting end.

however, when log in test user (group: author) , click 'submit news' create article, there no categories in drop-down list.  wysiwyg editor there , can use it, of course can't save without giving category.

what's going wrong , how can fix it?

if wants check mean, development site here:  http://216.194.115.14/joomla/index.php.  can log in username: test, password: test.  sorry site mess... construction, y'know.  :d

(on more minor note, idea why wysiwyg default centred text?  template?)

many can offer.

you can't see categories in 'submit news' because don't have published categories in section news.

Crossfader Arduino Tutorial

hello i'm super newb please don't bash me much. i'm using led's , i've connected them correctly (finally) , wondering why program here ( http://www.arduino.cc/en/tutorial/colorcrossfader ) doesn't work? say's haven't declared crossfade. read directions on top , said crossfade needs used list order of colors. isn't declared in main part (void loop() )? or need declared before? nevermind void on bottom , needed before voidloop. lol anyways playing rgb led's wondering if has specific way of making them fade in , out different colors?
