MiniDLNA disconnects - Raspberry Pi Forums

hey guys, have dlna server setup on pi cuts out while streaming tv's built in dlna client , ipad running xbmc. temporarily setup dlna server on laptop using external drive had plugged pi , windows media player , works fine streaming tv, on wifi. know why works fine via windows not pi?

here's setup:
pi running archlinux , minidlna connected via ethernet
750 gb seagate external (st907504exa101-rk) connected external power source formatted ext4
lg 42lm6200 smart tv/ipad2 dlna client

also, dmesg has line repeating on , on (device number 6 seagate drive):

of course, after toiling weeks, able figure out workaround problem asked question on forums. way had external setup was:

external -> powered hub -> pi
, causing problems reason. changed setup using usb y cable:

external -> powered hub external -> raspberry pi
, able stream via dlna f̶l̶a̶w̶l̶e̶s̶s̶l̶y̶. (see below).

still have 1 problem though , that's transferring files , external drive on samba. think might network problem file transfers in network range around 2-3 mb/s, external drive it's slower @ ~845 kb/s reads on large files , slower writes.

update: i'm still losing connection through dlna , error on tv's client saying "device has been disconnected." checked dmesg again , usb message above not present. occurred halfway through episode of anime , occurs if leave client paused while

Crossfader Arduino Tutorial

hello i'm super newb please don't bash me much. i'm using led's , i've connected them correctly (finally) , wondering why program here ( http://www.arduino.cc/en/tutorial/colorcrossfader ) doesn't work? say's haven't declared crossfade. read directions on top , said crossfade needs used list order of colors. isn't declared in main part (void loop() )? or need declared before? nevermind void on bottom , needed before voidloop. lol anyways playing rgb led's wondering if has specific way of making them fade in , out different colors?
