Thread: Recommended Ubuntu books?
i wondering if others had personal recommendations ubuntu books. there mlimited range (to least) in bookshops can reach browsing!
bit more specific, ones have seen tend fall 2 camps. 1 set aimed @ people require deep technical knowledge, , others tend spend of pages talking basics of bundled applications, (generally comparing them windoze equivalents).
i'm looking someting more how out of os user. things getting head around file system , how handles drives.

when first started ubuntu, picked copy of "hacking ubuntu", neal krawetz, available on amazon. it's getting down & dirty but, books of ilk, distro writing has, in cases, been updated making of the information obsolete. still book checking things out, speeding things up, etc.
