What to do about old links when converting to Joomla? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi!

i'm implement joomla site redesign of old static site.

i don't want "page not found" error if use link 1 of pages in hte old site.

is right thing 301 redirect each of old links appropriate content in new joomla site? hte user? search engines that?

or better use rewrites serve appropriate content, not 301 redirect?

am heading in right direction, or there better way want?

any guidance appreciated! :)

301s should fine, remember google doesnt seem care 301s 404s doesnt like, think re-writes using apache better idea , 1 used.

it looks neater, bu if have alot of content, maybe 301s lot less hassle.

Crossfader Arduino Tutorial

hello i'm super newb please don't bash me much. i'm using led's , i've connected them correctly (finally) , wondering why program here ( http://www.arduino.cc/en/tutorial/colorcrossfader ) doesn't work? say's haven't declared crossfade. read directions on top , said crossfade needs used list order of colors. isn't declared in main part (void loop() )? or need declared before? nevermind void on bottom , needed before voidloop. lol anyways playing rgb led's wondering if has specific way of making them fade in , out different colors?
