Thread: Sauerbraten wont load textures??

has had issue this? can play game fine textures arent being loaded, makes rather funny must admit.

are seeing errors textures when load game?

make sure you're using official version cubeengine.com or sauerbraten.org. extract home directory, easiest , avoids permission issues. when start it, don't use sudo, ./sauerbraten_unix (name might incorrect since can't check).

if got getdeb, make sure have sauerbraten-data package installed well. i've never used packages since they're known cause issues this. if have package installed , problem doesn't go away, official version avoid permission issues. try using sudo , see if game loads textures then, , if it's issue permissions , reason shouldn't use packages (games don't need root access).

if got through synaptic package manager or add/remove, might uninstall version since it's out of date. old versions have more bugs, missing features, , incompatible servers running latest version. don't know why old package exists; should either update or remove it.

if you've got real package official website (it's tar.bz2 archive), , it's extracted in home directory, problem still exists, guess can check permissions on game's data files located in packages directory. reason aren't able read game, see they're owned , have permission access them.

Crossfader Arduino Tutorial

hello i'm super newb please don't bash me much. i'm using led's , i've connected them correctly (finally) , wondering why program here ( http://www.arduino.cc/en/tutorial/colorcrossfader ) doesn't work? say's haven't declared crossfade. read directions on top , said crossfade needs used list order of colors. isn't declared in main part (void loop() )? or need declared before? nevermind void on bottom , needed before voidloop. lol anyways playing rgb led's wondering if has specific way of making them fade in , out different colors?
