Migrate and convert Mambo 4.5 to Joomla 1.0.8 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi guys...!
here again questions above mentioned subject.
i tried couple times migrate old mambo website 4.5 - joomla 1.0.8 - locally didn't succeeded on task. @ least on first tries.
i have been avoiding in on line site because scared mess if commit mistake while on line. (anyway site have been set off line, avoid visitors login).
as mambo version became old in many aspects, i'm willing migrate higher level , reason able stay closer upcoming releases.
so i'm wondering if task can performed no harm existing data contained in mambo site (photos, articles , description icons part of articles emphasize meanings), when migrating it.
i've tried backup database control panel of hosting , local computer, data unreadable.
so @ point didn't went further because had not clue why happen or reason occur.
i know why happended or have been reason.
one detail aware of, 2nd website (in english) located under root /public_html folder in folder named /joomla , if delete or migrate main page (mambo 4.5) contained in root /public_html folder, rest lost ?
so question is:
can done without considerable looses mambo 4.5 site , preserve joomla structure harmless ?  ???
can of both sites content restored safely (no losses ?). each site has own database created , filled corresponding data.
if detail needed clarify don't hesitate in ask me about.
if of out there clarify me topic i'll more gratefull.

well worked me, took me hour or full migrate, if follow instructions clever joomla guys give can not go wrong.

i first thought, incase go wrong should able revert way was.

Crossfader Arduino Tutorial

hello i'm super newb please don't bash me much. i'm using led's , i've connected them correctly (finally) , wondering why program here ( http://www.arduino.cc/en/tutorial/colorcrossfader ) doesn't work? say's haven't declared crossfade. read directions on top , said crossfade needs used list order of colors. isn't declared in main part (void loop() )? or need declared before? nevermind void on bottom , needed before voidloop. lol anyways playing rgb led's wondering if has specific way of making them fade in , out different colors?
